Whale Watching

Whale watching trip with Island Adventures, Anacortes. Note the absence of whales in these pictures :-/ Island Adventures promise that if you don't see any whales on a trip, you get to go again for free. However, since we did see one whale (it came up twice and then disappeared) that didn't apply to us apparently.

Piece of advise: these whale watchers keep track of where the whales are during the day, so they know where to go. However, they do not keep track of them during the night, so if you go early (we left at 9 a.m.), chances are they won't know where to go and have to find the whales first—which may or may not work out.

So, although it was a nice trip (and we did see a dolphin :-), it was rather disappointing whale-wise.
